Master Brian Hayes, 5th Degree Black
Belt
Master Hayes
is the Head Instructor for Iowa Hapkido. He has been training in Hapkido since 1990 and earned his black
belt in 1993 at Iowa State University under Master Yong Chin Pak. He also is
a black belt in Taekwondo and has an instructor certificate in Modern
Arnis. Master Hayes is a veterinarian
in Iowa City.

Beth Cody, 4th Degree Black Belt
Master Cody
has been training in Hapkido since 1994. She earned her black belt in 1999 in the Iowa Hapkido program
under Master Hayes. Ms. Cody
owns a retail store in Coralville.

Mark Willi, 1st Degree Black Belt
Mr. Willi has been training in Hapkido since 1994.
He earned his black belt in 2005 in the Iowa Hapkido program under Master
Hayes. Mr. Willi is an Electrical Engineer. |
Heidi Straka, 1st Degree Black
Belt
Ms. Straka has been training in Hapkido since 2005 and earned her black
belt in 2008 in the Iowa Hapkido program under Master
Hayes. Ms. Straka is a nurse at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Dustin Sellon, 1st Degree Black Belt
Mr. Sellon has been training in Hapkido since 2006.
He earned his black belt in 2009 in the Iowa Hapkido program under Master
Hayes. Mr. Sellon is a Software Engineer. |

David DeGeest, 1st Degree Black Belt
Mr. Degeest has been training in Hapkido since 2008.
He earned his black belt in 2011 in the Iowa Hapkido program under Master
Hayes. Mr. DeGeest is a Doctoral candidate in the University of Iowa School of Business.

Mr. Young has been training in Hapkido since 2008.
He earned his black belt in 2011 in the Iowa Hapkido program under Master
Hayes. Mr. Young is a Graphic Designer.

Belt
Master Williams
has been training in Hapkido since 1994 and earned his black belt in
the Iowa Hapkido Program under Master Hayes. Master Williams moved to New York City in 2010, where he works
in the private security industry.
He is greatly missed by everyone
in the Iowa Hapkido Club.
